A typical day revolves around issues’ resolution with my leader and working in Excel, SAP and Outlook. My daily tasks depend on the monthly schedule. The first two weeks cover monthly closing responsibilities and reviewing taxes. The last part of the month includes reviewing General Ledger accounts and monitoring cash balances. My highlights are meeting deadlines and solving open/pending items in my accounts.
I enjoy practicing my Spanish. Since I’m part of the Latin America group at the Bayway Chemical Plant, a lot of the e-mails I write, and financial statements and information I view are in Spanish.
