Infineum Singapore Pte. Ltd. was awarded the Singapore Ministry of Manpower's WSH Excellence Award in October 2008. This is the 10th consecutive year (1999-2008) that Infineum has the honour of winning this highest accolade for workplace safety and health. It is also the 12th year in succession that Infineum have won awards from the Ministry for workplace safety and health (1997-1998 Gold Award, 1999-2008 Excellence Award).
Infineum has a strong culture emphasizing health, safety and environment (HSE) excellence. In fact, we have a very comprehensive Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) to ensure that HSE awareness and practices are given top priority in the organisation. The HSE culture is inherent in the organisation in all aspects of our operations; from manufacturing to distribution of products to administration. We continuously promote activities that encourage employee participation in fostering a strong HSE culture.
Our pursuit of HSE excellence extends beyond Infineum, to include vendors, suppliers, contractors and customers. Infineum Singapore is an active member of the Responsible Care® initiative, which promotes community awareness about the responsibilities and activities of the chemical industry.
