Jacquie began her career in the petroleum additive industry with Esso Petroleum in 1983, before joining Exxon Chemical Company, additives division, Paramins, in 1986 and Infineum in 1999. Jacquie has had a variety of roles during her career including technology, sales and marketing but a constant has been her commitment to the UK lubricants industry. In 2015 Infineum joined the Verification of Lubricant Specifications (VLS) a UKLA affiliate whose objective is to raise the standards of compliance to specifications and approvals of UK lubricant marketers. Representing Infineum on VLS, Jacquie’s work for this group was key to her appointment to the UKLA Board of Directors and is recognition of her expertise and commitment.
David Wright, Director General of UKLA, commented: “The role of the UKLA Board of Directors is to ensure the association operates in the best interests of the wider sector. To do this we need to ensure that all parts of the sector are represented by experienced and capable individuals who can make an effective contribution to the industry. Jacquie has been a Board member of the VLS since 2015 and has helped to provide sound advice and guidance for VLS informed by her extensive industry expertise and so the UKLA Board had no hesitation in appointing her earlier this year.”
David Jilbert, Infineum EMEA Industry Liaison Manager, said: “The UKLA provides valuable input on matters impacting the industry, through participation in consultation, representation and through training and communications on industry developments and legislation. Jacquie’s appointment to the Board of Directors is a testament to her deep knowledge and dedication to quality standards in our industry.”
