Infineum Appoints New General Manager for Asia Pacific

Infineum, the petroleum additives enterprise, recently announced the appointment of Somchai Kornkanitnan to the new position of General Manager, Asia Pacific. This position was created to further drive the company's market position and leverage new growth opportunities in the Asia Pacific region.

In his new role, Mr Kornkanitnan will oversee the development and implementation of Infineum's strategic initiatives in Asia Pacific. He will be responsible for the alignment of regional infrastructure with corporate strategies as well as the company's regional manufacturing activities. In addition, he will be in charge of the Asia Pacific organisation and colleague development.

Mr Kornkanitnan brings with him a wealth of experience having accumulated 15 years in the petroleum additives industry and five years in other chemical industries. He previously served as Infineum's World-wide Business Manager (Small Engine Lubricants) in which he was responsible for the strategies and profitability of the Small Engine Lubricants segment business portfolio. Prior to that, Mr Kornkanitnan was the Asia Pacific Fuels Business Manager of Exxon Chemical Paramins Singapore Pte Ltd.

Mr Kornkanitnan received his Honour's degree in Chemical Engineering from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology in Bangkok, Thailand.

Mr Dance will soon return to Linden in USA to assume the position of Vice President, Technology.
