Infineum Series of Synthetic Sodium Sulfonates now available in North America

Infineum, the global lubricant and fuel additives company, has announced the North American launch of its Synacto series of synthetic sodium sulfonates. For over 20 years, Synacto products have been successfully used in Europe and other parts of the world as an attractive option for formulating water-based metalworking fluids.

The Synacto series of synthetic sodium sulfonates spans a molecular weight range from 392 to 690. Synacto products offer a number of unique benefits including increased emulsifying power, enhanced rust protection, ease of emulsion formation, and formulation flexibility. They are useful emulsifiers and corrosion inhibitors in applications such as cutting oils, rolling oils and fire-resistant hydraulic fluids. In addition, the Synacto product range can be effectively utilized in other surface applications including rust protection, quenching, ore floatation, and dust suppression.
