Infineum Opens its New Technology Facilities in UK

Infineum, the global lubricant and fuel additives company, officially opened its new Technology Facilities at a ceremony today at Milton Hill, near Abingdon, Oxfordshire, UK.

The facilities comprise of two buildings, named after eminent British engineers James Watt and Osborne Reynolds. The James Watt building which is a state of the art technology centre, houses ten laboratories and office accommodation for approximately two hundred research and development scientists. An additional building to house “pilot-scale” blending operations and “process scale-up” activities named after Osborne Reynolds is also built in the same complex.

The building which will be used for research into new Crankcase, Marine and Speciality lubricant additives as well as Fuel and Refinery Additives was officially opened in a joint unveiling between Dominique Fournier the present CEO and Tony Gaskell the first CEO of the company.
