Infineum Singapore's Jurong Island Plant awarded Ministry of Manpower Occupational Safety & Health EXCELLENCE AWARD

Infineum Singapore Pte. Ltd. was awarded the Singapore Ministry of Manpower's OSH Excellence Award in November 2006. This is the 8th consecutive year (1999-2006) that Infineum have the honour of winning this highest accolade for safety and health. It makes the 10th year in succession that Infineum have won awards from the Ministry for safety and health, the first two years being the Gold Award (1997 and 1998).

Infineum Singapore has the longest continuous record of an excellent safety performance in the Singapore industry. This year, the criteria for the award were made much tougher with only 4 companies winning the coveted OSH Excellence award.

This award was made possible by our employees' and contractors' dedication and attention to detail. The strong safety culture is also supported by our robust Operations Integrity Management System, or OIMS. It is a comprehensive system of operational guidelines that safeguards safety, health and the environment.

As Mr Teo Lek Hong, Managing Director and Plant Manager for Infineum Singapore Pte. Ltd., said in his address to Infineum employees,

"Your hard work, attention and focus on safety throughout the years have made us continuously being safe.
