Infineum Singapore's Jurong Island Plant awarded Ministry of Manpower Workplace Safety and Health Award (WSHAC) 2007

Infineum Singapore Pte. Ltd. was awarded the Singapore Ministry of Manpower's WSHAC Excellence Award in October 2007. This is the 9th consecutive year (1999-2007) that Infineum has the honour of winning this highest accolade for workplace safety and health. It is also the 11th year in succession that Infineum have won awards from the Ministry for workplace safety and health (1997-1998 Gold Award, 1999-2007 Excellence Award). Infineum Singapore has the longest continuous record of an excellent safety performance in the Singapore industry.

This award was made possible by our employees' and contractors' dedication and attention to detail. The strong safety culture is supported by our robust Operations Integrity Management System, or OIMS. It is a comprehensive system of operational guidelines that safeguards safety, health and the environment.

As Mr Teo Lek Hong, Managing Director and Plant Manager for Infineum Singapore Pte. Ltd., said in his address to Infineum employees,

"Your commitment, hard work, attention and focus on safety throughout the years have to make our operations safe.  All of  us should be proud of the fact that through our consistent and relentless effort, we go home each day safe to our families.
