A vacancy has arisen for a chemist in the Lubes Product Development Group. This role offers the opportunity to work as part of a team to help develop and deploy next generation product technologies across a range of segments. It also offers the chance to grow, develop and learn about a key area of the Infineum business while helping to solve technical problems and challenges as they arise. The team works closely with Lubrication Science, Customer Technical Services, International Accounts, Engineering and Industry Liaison colleagues.

Key Outputs: What we can expect from you
  • Proactively contribute to the high safety standard of the group
  • Design, recommend and carry out experimental programmes with guidance from supervisor
  • Co-ordinate and ensure completion of discrete work elements; arrange package and oil blends, schedule analytical and performance tests, collate and analyse data
  • Participate in project / activity teams, present results and conclusions of the work as required
  • Interact with internal and external contacts as required to progress projects
  • Liaise with external service providers to ensure analytical and bench testing are delivered to a high quality standard and against established timelines
