Position Summary:
- The Process Engineer is a member of the Singapore Plant Technical Team.
- This role is responsible for the development and implementation of initiatives to achieve high performance of production units, and to enhance their capabilities in capacity, quality and HSSE.
- The incumbent reports to the Plant Technical Leader.
Key Outputs: What we can expect from you
- Develop & implement initiatives to enhance capability & increase production efficiency of production unit, and in other areas of safety, quality, health & environmental protection.
- Responsible for monitoring and improving unit performance.
- Key interface to process specialist and is responsible for the transfer of technical knowledge to support plant operations.
- Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders on process troubleshooting.
- Develop and appropriate funds for Capital Investment Projects.
- Steward accurate mass balance of production units.
- Any other roles and responsibilities assigned.

- This role will develop your technical capability as a process engineer to troubleshoot issues and drive process improvements.
- This role also involves working closely with other functions in the company internal and external to the plant, which enables establishing strong networks and broad knowledge of the organization.
- Possible opportunity for a stint in Operations to gain experience in planning, operations and maintenance of the production units.
A successful candidate is likely to have:
- A good honours degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a process engineer, preferably in process design or manufacturing support.
- Knowledge and understanding of project economics or process control concepts will be an added advantage.
- Ability, innovativeness and flexibility to lead/handle multiple tasks. Result oriented.
- Ability to communicate effectively in interfaces with different functions.
