Position Summary:

The Regional sourcing leader role is at the core of Infineum’s Procurement and Operations Planning process and is an exciting and truly cross-functional opportunity to make a discernible impact. As a member of the Global Procurement team, the Regional Sourcing leader has 3 major responsibilities related to leadership, building sourcing strategies to maintain the flow of raw materials to our plants and commercial interactions with our suppliers.

The Regional Sourcing leader is the primary conduit between Procurement, Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams. The Regional Sourcing leader also works closely with Manufacturing technology, Legal and Sales colleagues, linking the external marketplace with internal business needs through development and execution of sourcing strategies and commercial contracts.

This position has supervisory responsibility providing the opportunity to build leadership skills and help develop people.

Key Outputs: What we can expect from you

• Sourcing execution: ensure flawless supply of raw materials to plants in the region
• Responsible for tactical sourcing of ad-hoc purchase for specific plants in a region
• Responsible for minimizing value leakage in sourcing execution
• Supervise, develop and provide work direction for the NA Raw Materials Buyers
• Establish relationships with internal clients at multiple levels and communicate effectively to ensure alignment of objectives
• Establish relationships with key suppliers at different levels to drive performance, improve supply security and minimize value leakage or reduce cost
• Ensure appropriate resolution of supply exceptions
• Develop Supplier Sourcing Risk Assessments, with associated contingency plans
• Understand the Operational Risk associated with the activities carried out and ensure plans are in place to manage where appropriate
• Coordinate and/or implement changes ensuring flawless introduction of new suppliers/materials through collaborative working cross functionally
• Ensure compliance to operational integrity procedures, business & financial control processes, training and assessment schedules internally
• Represent Infineum’s Procurement function in internal and external discussions

A Successful candidate is likely to have:

• Procurement, Sales, Supply Chain professional with experience in commercial and/or supply roles
• Engineering or Supply Chain degree; Chemical Engineering preferred

• Strong relationship building and team-work skills
• Business acumen
• Ability to work in a complex and challenging environment consisting of multiple internal and external interfaces
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
