The Lubes Product Delivery Team consists of both the Product Development (PD) and the Customer Technical Services (CTS) groups. The CTS group focuses on customer applications of these products.
The successful candidates will take a supporting role in the execution customer programs projects and support, usually under the guidance of a Technologist or Group Leader. Long-term we expect two roles to include some external facing elements of support for CTS.   The candidates will also be involved in interfacing with other functions such as the Documentation CoE and Research & Development Technicians.

What can we expect from you:
  • Develop customer formulation definitions and receive work priorities from technologists
  • Assist with program activity; direct package and oil blends, schedule analytical and performance tests, collate and document data
  • Assist with execution and follow through of experimental programs with guidance from Technologists in Product Development and CTS

  • Responsible for completion of product documentation (PCMs, Claims, OEM forms)

  • Interface with Blending/Testing COE for work completion

  • Collaborate closely with documentation COE to ensure delivery of customer needs

  • Interact with internal and external contacts as required to progress projects

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned
A successful candidate is likely to have:
  • B.S. degree, preferably in a technical field

  • Strong communication skills and multi-tasking capability

  • An ability to work skillfully and methodically according to technical standards

  • Capability of planning, executing and working independently

  • Ability to respond to changing priorities and tight deadlines while working under pressure

  • Strong awareness of the Health, Safety and Environmental practices associated with working in a laboratory

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, enjoy working as part of a team, good time management and organizational skills

  • Effective communication: oral, presentation and written, particularly the ability to draft accurate documentation

  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc). Electronic Lab Notebook knowledge desirable
