The #InfineumCARES monthly series spotlights our colleagues’ volunteering efforts from around the world, as part of our commitment toward supporting people and communities.
Six colleagues from our Milton Hill site recently volunteered at Abingdon Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA), a charity offering therapeutic horse-riding activities for children and adults with disabilities. Abingdon RDA’s activities cater for diverse disabilities like learning difficulties, multiple sclerosis and muscular dystrophy, instilling independence and confidence among participants.
Our colleagues provided essential maintenance work around the premises. This included clearing brambles, removing debris, and trimming overgrown grass from paddocks and driveways for a safer and more welcoming riding experience.

Linda Wilson, Technologist, Infineum said: “Volunteering with the Abingdon RDA was a truly rewarding experience. It enabled us to support the meaningful work they do in our community through essential maintenance tasks. This was also a wonderful opportunity to connect with my team outside the office, while contributing to a cause that makes a difference.”

At Infineum, we are pleased to champion meaningful causes that create positive change in our surrounding community. For more information about our sustainability initiatives, please visit: https://www.infineum.com/sustainability/.
