Japan Trends, our customer engagement event returned for 2022.  With legislation across the world tightening limits of CO2 emissions, customers are demanding products that have less and less impact on the environment.

Two hundred customers who attended this year had the opportunity to learn more about our sustainability strategy and how we can help them reduce emissions.

Asia Pacific Sales Director John Hong kicked off Trends with an inspirational speech that explained how Infineum and our customers, are more aligned than ever on sustainability.

“We are all motivated to reduce carbon emissions and feel responsible for the wellbeing of the communities we live in.” Said John who went on to point out that Infineum’s corporate performance is now intimately linked to sustainability performance and that our sustainability targets are based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals: not only aiming at reducing emissions but also at making a positive impact in our communities.

Japan Country Manager, Yoshitomo Nakamura shared how pleased he was with the outcome of the event and said, “The event was a great success with overwhelming participation from the industry including customers, OEMs, and industry bodies. What’s more, 96% of attendees rated the event experience positively. I would like to thank all colleagues who were involved in planning, preparing, and delivering such a great event for our stakeholders, for the first time since COVID.”

2023 will mark the sixtieth anniversary of Trends and plans are being made to bring a new direction to the event, as Enrico Franchini, Executive Customer Centricity Manager explains, “Customer Success is at the heart of everything we are doing to become a more customer-centric company.  Going forwards, we are going to take a new approach to Trends. It will offer a more forward-looking view to the arising opportunities in an ever-changing landscape, with an absolute focus on sustainability.  We look forward to seeing everyone at our 60th anniversary Trends event next year”
