For the third year running, our Singapore plant has received recognition at the Singapore Chemical Industry Council (SCIC) Responsible Care Awards 2023 for contributions to health, safety, and environmental practices in the chemical industry. 

As with previous years, our Singapore Plant received recognition in six out of the seven applicable codes, including the Employee Health and Safety Code, Community Awareness and Emergency Response Code, Pollution Prevention Code, Security Code, Distribution Code, and Process Safety Code.  

This year, however, the team has recorded improvement in two of the six codes submitted for judging; the rating performance for Community Awareness and Emergency Response Code improved from Gold to Excellence, while the rating performance for Process Safety Code improved from Achievement to Gold. 

Speaking about Infineum’s performance at the awards, Global Manufacturing Director, Frank Horneck, says, “Infineum Singapore has been well regarded in the area of Safety for many years. I think we are continuing to lead the pack and will continue to do so in the future.”
