Protecting Local Wildlife through the Blue Acres Clean-Up

Volunteering - 30 January 2025

Colleagues from our Linden site volunteered their time in the Blue Acres Clean-Up, working together with community partners to protect and conserve local wildlife. This marks the third year that Infineum is participating in the clean-up, with the clean-up taking place twice a year in autumn and spring.

The Blue Acres Clean-Up partnership was formed two years ago by the Linden Environmental Team and Community Relations, with community partners such as Phillips 66, the City of Linden municipality, Groundwork Elisabeth and Conserve Wildlife. Colleagues who volunteered in the activity took part in weeding and tending to 66 trees which were planted last year.

Azariah Clifton, Community Relations Coordinator, says “Colleagues and returning community partners were excited to see how well the trees had become established after planting them last year. I am grateful for the support of all the volunteers involved.

Infineum actively encourages our colleagues to give back to their local communities through volunteering. For more information about Infineum’s sustainability initiatives, please visit: https://www.infineum.com/sustainability/.
