Recently, Infineum was extremely pleased to support the National Youth Council of Singapore’s 'Day in the Life'campaign which enabled young people, who were curious about different jobs and industries, to gain valuable insight.
Process Engineer, Zhixiang Bai was featured in engaging and fun video in which he busts some myths about his job. In this creative film he shares his career journey and day-to-day responsibility, as well as how it feels to be a process engineer, which for him is much like looking after a baby!
This event was created following feedback from students interested in joining the profession who had a strong appetite for real-life testimonials.
The initiative dovetailed nicely into one of our Sustainability commitments; to create a positive impact in the communities where we operate. This includes promoting Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) careers. Zhixiang did a fantastic job, hopefully encouraging some young people into a career in STEM, by bringing it so clearly to life
