Infineum continues to expand its coverage of premium engine oils by adding a prestigious German OEM triple crown to its unique VW SAE 0W-30 product line.
Responding to the OEMs’ desire to drive in-use fuel economy compliance with lower viscosity engine oils, which are increasingly mandated for service fill lubricants, Infineum P6080A now carries VW 504 00 /507 00, Daimler MB 229.52 and BMW LL-04 on the SAE 0W-30 grade. Infineum P6080A is also available in the SAE 5W-30 grade.
This additional coverage augments the already wide range of Infineum products carrying many OEM claims across a wide viscosity grade range. These products are formulated using the speciality chemical company’s unique salicylate detergent technology, Infineum SV viscosity modifiers and other proprietary components.
These latest claims build on the strength of a well-established product that has been in use for VW factory-fill and service-fill for many years, bringing increased flexibility in addressing broader vehicle fleet needs in this growing viscosity grade.
