Roberto Ponte, Vice President of Human Resources
In his current role as Vice President of Human Resources, Roberto is accountable for the shaping and evolution of the people and culture agenda for Infineum, including the development of a capable, diverse, and engaged talent base.
A dual citizen of Italy and the USA, Roberto holds a Master’s Degree in Nuclear Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino and an MBA from INSEAD at Fontainebleau.
Roberto has over 30 years’ experience, almost ten of which were gained working in process engineering and manufacturing management at global specialty chemicals companies, prior to joining Infineum at startup.
An Infineum executive since 2009, Roberto has held positions across HR. Splitting his time between Italy and the UK he has worked in operations, policy and business partnering, and has delivered the people element of multiple strategic projects.
Roberto was appointed Global HR Director in 2019, and became a member of Infineum’s Corporate Leadership Team in 2024 as Vice President of HR.
Roberto is married with one daughter and spends his free time performing sports, travelling and enjoying nature.
